Vinilo Record Store is an independent record shop on Queensway in Southampton. Ken Robshaw and Virginia Coe opened it in August 2017 as a vinyl-only shop at 55 Queensway. The main shop has since moved to a bigger space at 43 to 47 Queensway, and the original unit is now Vinilo Vintage, for pre-owned records. Vinilo is busy with events: in-store signings and sessions, and bigger outstore shows in Southampton and Bournemouth, usually bundled with a copy of the record. It also runs a pre-order club and a rewards scheme, stocks Dinked editions, CDs and cassettes, and sells Rega turntables.
