Blood Records

About Blood Records

Blood Records is an independent record label and online shop that makes limited edition, collectable vinyl with artists and labels. Most releases are special-effect pressings: handmade splatter designs, picture discs and animated zoetropes. Each edition is pressed to a set quantity and never repressed once it sells out, and most copies are individually numbered, so the earlier you order, the lower your number. The same team runs Bad World, a sister label for liquid-filled and dry-filled records. Blood is based in Towcester, Northamptonshire, and sells online; its website doesn't list a shop you can visit. Drops tend to go quickly, which is when a single search across several shops earns its keep. Blood's releases appear on soundsfound alongside the other independent shops' stock, and the link takes you straight to blood-records.co.uk.
